yeah okay it’s official pretty sure Born This Way is my favorite ep.
Not only are all the songs some of the best they’ve ever done (As if we never said Goodbye will always be my favorite performance because just wow), but the artistic direction to EVERYTHING is so lovely and fresh, from using the lockers as ‘panels’ during the quinn/finn semi-argument (which, come to think of it, is the only bit of relationship drama in the ep HMM INTERESTING), to the beautifully flowing camera work in every scene no matter how minor, to just taking every moment in a creative and artistic degree that up until that point and since they never did again.
It may be due to the hype it had, but the MJ ep did just as much but it pales pathetically in comparison. Also whoa foreshadowing. Or rather frightening coincidences from hindsight, because lol as if anything sensible this season is done on purpose. I’m sure people picked up on it but I had to blacklist basically everything from the last episode and it’s probably the only one I can’t watch again because wow depression hey wassup ANYWAY point being what the hell happened and why can’t the powers that be see the answer that’s right in front of them, but that’s an annoying argument and there’s no point in complaining.
But at the end of the day I just really love this show in spite of everything, and man this episode is just so amazing in all aspects it makes it worth it. OH it’s also the point I came into the fandom and met all of you, so…there’s that too. haha :) <3
